Ana Ortiz (1987) is a Madrid born artist living and working in England. Originally graduated as a Technical Architect before going onto a postgraduate degree in Building Engineering at the Europea University of Madrid. Following her teaching qualification at the Alcala de Henares University of Madrid Ana, came to England to further her teaching experience and study of English. Her background in architecture has inspired many of her technical and structural designs in her artwork.  Modernist in her approach, Ana's artwork is predominantly abstract and minimalist.

Her designs are inspired by her travels and are produced from original experiments in mixed media, including acrylic, spray paint, alcohol ink and epoxy resin.
